Job summary

Advance CNC Machining is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for off-shift and weekend roles. You will perform precision inspections on machined parts using CMMs and other tools, develop inspection plans from drawings, and collaborate with production for continuous quality improvements.

The role requires 3 years of hands-on inspection experience, strong tolerance understanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and measurement techniques.
• 3 years of hands-on dimensional inspection in a shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and risk assessment abilities.
• Excellent numerical aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Clear communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision inspections on machined parts using CMMs and inspection tools.
• Create inspection plans from drawings to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, engineers, and management to address quality issues and improvements.
• Conduct floor audits with visual and dimensional checks to catch issues early.
• Review CMM reports to ensure parts meet standards and approve first articles.
