Qualifications

• Demonstrated CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software and relevant CNC programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with equipment and manufacturing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting production and quoting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Interpret drawings, CAD models, and customer specs to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and methods to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Design manufacturing fixtures as needed and establish routings.
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on materials, labor, machine time, and external services.
• Support sales with timely, accurate quotations.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports and FAI.
• Coordinate packing, shipping docs, and on-time delivery.
