Aspiring CNC Programmer role for a manufacturing client in Farmington, CT. You will program CNC machines for laser cutting, punching, and bending, ensuring accurate interpretations of drawings and models. Qualifications

• CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, CAD models and customer specs.
• Knowledge of tooling, materials, and production methods to reduce waste.
• Experience documenting quality processes and inspections (FAI, COCs).
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching and bending.
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer specs to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Design and implement manufacturing fixtures as needed.
• Establish routings and coordinate with production for issue resolution.
