Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is recruiting a CNC Programmer in Farmington, CT to join a manufacturing client. The role combines CNC programming, process planning, and cost estimating to support high-quality sheet metal fabrication and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC programming experience, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across production, sales, quality, and shipping to optimize processes and quotations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated CNC programming experience for sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Interpret drawings and customer specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and production methods to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Design manufacturing fixtures as needed and establish routings per standards.
• Work with production to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Prepare cost estimates based on material, labor, machine time, and services.
• Support sales with timely quotations.
• Ensure quality documentation and compliance (FAI, Certificates of Conformance).
• Coordinate packaging and shipment planning to ensure on-time delivery.
