Job summary

Travis Body & Trailer, Inc. in NW Houston, TX is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and release fabrication programs for sheet metal, using ProNest and EnRoute.

Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Materials to maximize material yield, reduce scrap, and ensure parts meet drawings and tolerances; must have 5+ years of CNC programming in fabrication environments and proficiency with ProNest/EnRoute.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience within fabrication or sheet metal environments.
• ProNest and EnRoute programming software proficiency.
• Strong sheet metal fabrication knowledge incl. cutting, routing, forming, and press brake.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and Bills of Materials.
• Working knowledge of CNC equipment, tooling, feeds/speeds, and machine capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and release CNC programs, nests, and machine files.
• Program fabrication equipment including routers, shears, and press brakes.
• Develop nesting strategies to maximize material yield and throughput.
• Review drawings and BOMs for manufacturability and accuracy.
• Convert work orders into executable fabrication programs and machine-ready files.
• Maintain tooling libraries, bend allowances, and machine parameters.
