Job summary

Travis® Body & Trailer, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for 1st shift in NW Houston to develop, optimize, and release fabrication programs for sheet metal operations.

You will convert designs into efficient CNC programs, maximize material yield, and improve machine productivity in a collaborative environment. The role requires 5+ years in CNC programming within fabrication, proficiency with ProNest and EnRoute, and the ability to read drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience in fabrication/sheet metal.
• ProNest and EnRoute programming software proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and BOMs.
• Strong knowledge of cutting, routing, forming, and press brake operations.
• Experience with tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and release CNC programs, nests, and machine files using ProNest and EnRoute.
• Program fabrication equipment including routers, shears, press brakes, and other CNC machinery.
• Develop nesting strategies to maximize material yield and throughput.
• Review engineering drawings and BOMs for manufacturability and accuracy.
• Convert work orders into machine-ready programs and files.
• Maintain tooling libraries and fabrication documentation.
• Support press brake programming and forming strategies.
