Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related apprenticeship preferred.
• Extensive experience as a machinist with CNC and manual techniques.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM; knowledge of G-Code and M-Code.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints or job orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, tooling, feeds and speeds.
• Sets up and secures tools and workpieces for CNC/Machining processes.
• Operates CNC Mills, Lathes, Plasma Cutters, Punches, Benders and welding machines.
• Writes/edits CNC programs using CAD/CAM; monitors tool wear and adjusts as needed.
• Conducts quality inspections and measurements; troubleshoots setup or process issues.
