Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with preference for technical certification, vocational training in machining, or an apprenticeship.
• Extensive experience as a Machinist with CNC and manual machining techniques.
• Previous CNC programming experience and CAD/CAM tooling.
• Practical experience with manufacturing, assembly, and welding equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints or job orders for specifications and tooling instructions and determines operation sequence.
• Positions and secures tools and workpieces, and sets feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
• Operates CNC Mills, Lathes, Plasma Cutters, Punches, Benders and welding machines as needed.
• Programs CNC machines and uses CAD/CAM software for required parts.
• Performs thorough inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoots toolings, machine setup, and process issues to maintain quality.
