Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group seeks an experienced CNC Machinist-Programmer in Texas to set up and program CNC mills and lathes, reading blueprints and selecting tooling to meet exact tolerances. You will run multiple machine types, perform quality inspections with calipers and micrometers, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime while upholding safety standards and kaizen improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preference for technical certification or apprenticeship.
• Extensive experience as Machinist with CNC and manual techniques.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and programming.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and set up CNC operations with correct feeds and speeds.
• Program CNC machines and use CAD/CAM software.
• Operate CNC mills, lathes, plasma cutters, punches, and welders.
• Inspect finished parts and ensure tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and fix machining issues.
