Stanley Black & Decker in Sedalia, MO is seeking a CNC Operator/Programmer to design, set up, adjust, program, test, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components strictly according to engineering specifications; you will read complex blueprints and select appropriate tooling.

Responsibilities include programming with CAD/CAM software, writing and modifying G-code, performing machine setup, conducting first articles and test runs, inspecting parts with precision metrology

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; associate degree preferred in CNC programming or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and reading G-code is essential.
• Experience programming and operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software and G-code.
• Set up CNC machines, load materials, run tests, and operate to meet production needs.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Document CNC programs and machine settings; modify programs for efficiency.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and troubleshoot machine issues.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and collaborate with engineers and production teams.
