Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Flexible Operator I for 1st shift in Sedalia, MO. You will support, adjust programming, and operate advanced laser, weld, and press equipment to produce model parts per specs.

Required are CNC setup/programming experience, lean methods familiarity, and strong manual dexterity. AAS/AS degree and 3+ years in manufacturing are preferred. Expect safety-focused duties and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• AS degree in machine tool technology, engineering, maintenance technician, or equivalent preferred.
• Must have CNC setup and programming experience or training.
• Prefer 3+ years of experience in manufacturing settings.
• Experience with lean techniques and quality control principles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of presses for cutting and trimming operations.
• Read drawings and blueprints to ensure proper tolerances and sequences.
• Nest parts to minimize scrap and optimize machine output.
• Ensure safety, measure with appropriate instruments, and document processes.
