Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical schooling and machinist knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years CNC machine tool programming & operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret machine drawings.
• Ability to perform average to complex math calculations.
• Will be compensated based on expertise and production efficiency.
• Can operate at least 2 CNC machine tools.
• Experience as a Manual machinist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, write programs and edit existing programs for CNC lathes and mills.
• Operate machines to produce parts per drawings and tolerances.
• Inspect finished work using micrometers, bore gauges and calipers.
• Follow safety policies and report equipment issues.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and document labor hours.
