Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking CNC Machine Programmers (levels 2-4) to join the Engines team in Huntsville. You will program engine components for BE-3U devices, using NX Cam and MasterCam, collaborating with engineers and machinists to deliver safe, repeatable spaceflight components and support across facilities.

This role emphasizes quality, adherence to GD&T, and efficient setup and machining of nickel-based alloys and aluminum, with relocation provided and multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of NC programming experience, NX or MasterCam preferred
• Strong blueprint reading with GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994
• Experience with fixtures design and set-up sheets
• Ability to determine feeds and speeds and Cutter selection for nickel-based alloys and aluminum
• Design for manufacture experience and excellent communication skills
• Proficient with precision hand tools and PCs
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for status as required by U.S. law

Responsibilities

• Program unique rocket engine components in NX Cam and Master Cam
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure safe, repeatable machining
• Work on BE-3U engine components for the New Glenn rocket
• Support manufacturing and supply chain activities across Blue Origin facilities
• Prioritize work to meet project completion dates
