Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Computer Numerically Controlled Programmer to develop and maintain CNC programs for our wood window and door production. You will support the Made-to-Order department by creating and optimizing CNC routines using industry software, implementing engineering changes, and turning customer designs into precise components.

Ideal candidates bring strong CNC programming skills, solid math ability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have superior CNC and computer programming skills.
• Good math skills, especially algebra and trigonometry.
• Excellent reading comprehension skills.
• Good listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management with minimal supervision.
• Wood door component and wood species knowledge.
• Competent in Marvin Docs, ECN system, & ICIM.
• Competent in reading design prints.
• MS Office 365 products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programs for automated equipment.
• Facilitate generation of weekly status reports and planning documents.
• Develop CNC programs for standard products using AlphaCam, InventorCam, and Xilog.
• Assist to organize for Strategic Business Council meetings.
• Create and revise CNC programs for unique customer door designs (ECNs).
• Review and release special orders; assist with pilot runs and launches.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in improvement teams.
