Job summary

Projects Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced CNC Programmer specializing in multi-axis machining to program, optimize, and validate aerospace components using CAM software.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Scheduling to ensure safe, efficient processes aligned with AS9100 quality standards. Proficiency with Mastercam or GibbsCAM and fixture development is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100/AS9102.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement exposure.
• Experience programming mill, lathe, and mill-turn equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers using Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or equivalent CAM software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
• Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies for aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and other aerospace materials.
• Design and implement work-holding fixtures and process improvements.
• Perform prove-outs, simulations, and first-run validations.
• Develop setup documentation and maintain program revision records.
• Support root-cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality and delivery objectives.
