Job summary

American Flowform and Machining is seeking a CNC programmer to develop, verify, and release programs for turning and milling of complex aerospace components. The role requires interpreting drawings, ensuring part conformity, and collaborating with manufacturing engineers and operators.

Responsibilities include achieving run and setup times to meet metrics, programming in Mastercam (3/4/5 axis), providing setup sheets, and supporting NPI and transfers while adhering to ESH and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred but not required.
• 5–10 years of machine shop experience.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Mastercam programming experience.
• Experience with Mastercam operation simulation.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• U.S. Citizen due to ITAR/EAR data.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for turning and milling (3/4/5 axis) of aerospace components.
• Achieve run and setup time goals to meet production metrics.
• Program in Mastercam for CAD modeling and complex surfaces.
• Provide tool setup sheets and clear operator instructions.
• Support NPI and product transfer activities.
