Responsibilities

1. Work directly with Manufacturing Manager, Machine Operators, Engineering teams, and Production Control to produce quality programs, keep machines operational, and meet production goals.
2. Program using Mastercam.
3. Operate and manage processes including 2-3 axis mill/turning on Okuma, Hass, Mazak, FANUC machines.
4. Design in Solidworks.
5. Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and specifications.
6. Select tools and fixtures such as end mills, drills, inserts, and custom fixtures.
7. Organize and maintain programs, setup sheets, and revisions.
8. Perform first run prove outs independently or with machine operators.
9. Revise programs to correct errors or improve performance.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent; technical or college education is a plus.
2. Minimum 8 years of machining experience, with at least 4 years in programming.
3. Ability to collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Manager to adhere to shop schedules and meet production needs.
4. Ability to participate in employee relations and adhere to labor contracts.
5. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
