Job Title: Sr. CNC Programmer

Location: Sedalia or Springfield, MO

Job Overview

Join a powerhouse of innovation by aligning with our Industrial Technologies & Services, Americas (ITSA) division. We’re on the hunt for a high-impact Sr. CNC Programmer to take our manufacturing excellence to the next level! Based in Springfield, MO, and supporting our Sedalia facility, you’ll be the SME (subject matter expert) at the forefront of precision engineering—designing and implementing advanced CNC programs for 5-Axis machines to craft complex, high-precision parts. Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fixture setup sheets, cutting tool setup sheets and CNC Programs for 4 axis HMC, 4 axis VMC, 5 axis Mill Turn, 3 & 4 axis lathe
• Create and maintain CAD files using Inventor, Creo and SolidWorks
• Create and maintain CAM Files using Esprit, Creo, CAMWorks, and hyperMill
• Research/ justify cutting tools for new or existing program requirements
• Identify/ justify/ implement - improvements in cycle time/ setup time/ tool life
• Design/ Detail drawings / Procure – Part work holding
• Coordinate/ observe/ report out - machine cycle time studies
• Lead synergy projects between plants – tooling used / machining strategy/ vendors
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated expertise of CNC programming for 5-Axis machines
• High proficiency with cutting tool applications, feeds and speeds, CAD/CAM, and G-Code needed.
• Occasional travel to the other location with overnight stays required.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills required for daily interactions with multiple people/departments.

• 25% anticipated travel with overnight stays in support of other location
