Job summary

Fong Lee Metal Industries Pte Ltd seeks a skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join our team. The role requires 5+ years in CNC milling and 3+ years in 4-5 axis programming, with strong CAD/CAM software proficiency.

You will prepare programs from drawings and customer specs, generate setup sheets, and ensure quality and safety guidelines are followed. Responsibilities include updating programs after testing, reviewing program sheets, and designing fixtures or requesting new tooling when needed.

Qualifications

• Interpreting BOM and drawings to derive machining requirements.
• 5+ years in CNC milling manufacturing with 3+ years in 4-5 axis programming.
• Solid knowledge of milling tooling and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CNC programs from drawings and customer specifications.
• Create setup sheets with tool lists and cutting parameters.
• Update programs monthly after tests and generate setup sheets.
• Ensure all programs, setups and tooling lists comply with QSM and engineering procedures.
• Review and approve all program sheets.
• Design fixtures and request new tools as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare program with the understanding of drawing detail, customer specifications and requirements.
• Create set-up sheet with tool list and cutting parameter to assist production department to achieve its production quotas with quality and safety guidelines.
• Conduct monthly update of program once the program is tested, generate setup sheet for each parts as required.
• Ensure all program, set-up and tooling list is generate as per company QSM and engineering department procedures.
• Responsible to review and approve of all program sheets.
• As and when required, design fixture and request for new tools.
• As and when required, other appointed duties.
