5th Axis in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a CNC and precision-manufacturing team on the floor, manage daily priorities, staffing, and safety, and partner with the Production Manager and HR to keep delivery on track.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in CNC or precision manufacturing, proven leadership, and the ability to coach staff, read blueprints, and ensure ISO 9001 quality standards are met.

Competenze

• At least three years of CNC machining or precision manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, workholding, and production flow.
• Supervisory or team-leadership experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead production employees during the assigned shift and oversee daily workflow.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and adherence to policy.
• Address issues promptly and coordinate with other teams to maintain workflow.
• Coach employees, provide performance feedback, and document conversations.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting production staff when appropriate.
• Ensure ISO 9001 quality standards are followed and records are maintained.
• Collaborate with managers and support departments to align priorities.
