Job summary

Cambridge Valley Machining, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct daily CNC manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The role provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to production staff and partners with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain to resolve issues. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in CNC manufacturing and 2+ years in supervision, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing experience in a CNC environment.
• At least two years in supervision or team leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to achieve goals.
• Direct daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, workflow, and machine utilization.
• Coordinate production priorities and respond to changing requirements.
• Lead daily shift meetings and communicate priorities and safety updates.
• Support cross-functional problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
