Job summary

The role requires hands-on CNC machining experience, strong product management and commercial skills, and the ability to translate market insights into winning products. You will work with Engineering, Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, Training, Service, and Operations to deliver industry-leading solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of product management, engineering, or technical leadership within CNC or machine tool industries.
• Hands-on experience programming, operating, or troubleshooting CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, CAM software, tooling, and workflows.
• Experience leading new product development from concept through commercialization.
• Demonstrated success developing product roadmaps and managing product portfolios.
• Experience developing go-to-market strategies and supporting successful product launches.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market opportunities and business performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the CNC product portfolio strategy and long-term vision.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from development to end-of-life planning.
• Identify adjacent opportunities, accessories, software, tooling, automation, and services.
• Build business cases using market research, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and financial data.
• Serve as the internal Voice of the Customer throughout development.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Training, Service, and Operations.
• Define product requirements, specifications, and feature priorities; balance cost and performance.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and support successful launches across channels.
• Monitor sales, margins, inventory, market share, and profitability; adjust strategy accordingly.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
