Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, California, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer, CNC to own the manufacturing strategy and producibility of complex CNC-machined hardware from development through production.

This role bridges design engineering, CAM programming, machining, quality, and production, defining the manufacturing approach and driving improvements to quality, cost, and scalability across parts and systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CNC manufacturing engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Own CNC manufacturing strategy and producibility for assigned hardware and projects.
• Define overall machining approach, machine platform, setup strategy, datum strategy, workholding, tooling, inspection, and process-control requirements.
• Provide technical direction to CAM programmers while enabling them to own detailed CNC programs.
• Collaborate with machinists during prove-out and production to understand process behavior and identify changes.
• Lead CNC process improvements involving tooling, workholding, probing, sequencing, or process architecture.
• Develop mature manufacturing processes for transfer to production with defined technical requirements and controls.
