Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Press Brake Operator for the second shift in Columbus, OH. You will set up and operate high-tonnage CNC press brakes (Amada & Toyokoki), read blueprints, and ensure part tolerances are met through precise measurements.

The role requires familiarity with ISO quality standards, the ability to perform offset adjustments, and the use of finishing and deburring tools. Training may begin on first shift as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints with accuracy and interpret specifications.
• Experience operating CNC press brakes and setting up tooling.
• Proficient in measuring parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with ISO quality procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 85–175 ton CNC and ATC Amada & Toyokoki press brakes (full setup required).
• Read and interpret blueprints with high accuracy.
• Maintain tolerances of +.005" and degrees.
• Measure dimensions with calipers and micrometers.
• Make necessary offset adjustments.
• Follow ISO procedures and quality standards.
• Operate finishing equipment (e.g., Fladder, hand grinders, deburring tools).
• Learn and perform hardware insertion tasks.
• Use power/air and hand tools including rivet gun.
• Assist with mechanical assembly as needed.
• Safely handle repetitive lifting (up to 75 lbs., typical part weight 2–).
