Job summary

JPW Industries is seeking an Application Engineer for our press brake business. This remote role is preferred within two hours of Manitowoc, WI and will support technical wins, demos, and on-site startup support as needed.

You will own the technical story from customer part drawings to a fully ramped bending cell, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management. Travel up to 75% to customer sites and trade shows is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or hands-on equivalent in CNC press brake applications.
• Strong knowledge of CNC press brake programming, setup, and operation.
• Experience with robotic bending and automation.
• Ability to read complex part drawings and bend sequences.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical story from first customer part drawing to a fully ramped bending cell.
• Lead demonstrations, bending trials, feasibility studies, and offline simulations for quotes.
• Assist with press brake installation, start-up, and process setup at customer sites.
• Provide field feedback to Product Management and Engineering to shape the roadmap.
• Represent JPW Industries at trade shows and customer demos, with clear technical communication.
