Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician to support a precision CNC manufacturing environment in Indianapolis. You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and equipment life.

You will work with production to identify potential issues before downtime, complete routine inspections, maintain logs, and follow lockout/tagout safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance in CNC machining or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, machining centers.
• Ability to read manuals and follow preventive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment and related systems.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components.
• Maintain lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Identify abnormal machine conditions and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with vendors or internal resources for complex repairs.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and records; ensure safety procedures.
