Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician for a precision CNC manufacturing environment. You will perform scheduled PMs on CNC machines and related equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.

Work with production to identify issues early, follow OEM PMs, and maintain detailed maintenance records. A high school diploma is required; technical maintenance training is a plus. The role is on-site in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment wear or developing mechanical issues.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, preventative maintenance procedures, technical documentation, and maintenance schedules.
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating equipment concerns to production and leadership.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or industrial maintenance training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and machining centers.
• Complete routine inspections and maintenance according to OEM recommendations and PM schedules.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components as required.
• Maintain and service lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and replace filters, belts, hoses, seals, fluids, and other wear items.
• Check fluid levels, pressures, lubrication delivery, coolant condition, and other critical operating parameters.
• Identify abnormal machine conditions and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Support maintenance of chip conveyors, mist collectors, coolant filtration systems, air compressors, chillers, pumps, and other equipment.
• Coordinate complex repairs with internal resources, vendors, or service techs when needed.
• Maintain accurate PM schedules, service records, and maintenance logs.
