Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician for a precision CNC manufacturing environment. The role centers on scheduled PM of CNC machine tools and related equipment to maximize uptime, accuracy, and equipment life, working with production to prevent downtime.

You will inspect, lubricate, and troubleshoot basic issues, support hydraulic/coolant systems, and coordinate complex repairs with internal teams or vendors.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify wear or issues.
• Experience reading equipment manuals and maintenance schedules.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment (mills, lathes, machining centers) and related systems.
• Complete routine inspections and service per OEM recommendations and PM schedules.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace components as needed.
• Maintain lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Document completed work and maintenance logs; schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
