Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician to support a precision CNC manufacturing environment. You will perform scheduled PM on CNC machine tools and related equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and life of the machinery.

You will work with production to identify issues before downtime, complete routine maintenance, and document service records while adhering to safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and maintaining clean, organized facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing preventative maintenance in a CNC machining, machine tool, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
• Complete routine inspections and maintenance according to OEM recommendations and internal PM schedules.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components as required.
• Maintain lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and replace filters, belts, hoses, seals, fluids, and other wear items.
• Check fluid levels, pressures, and other critical machine parameters.
• Identify abnormal machine conditions and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Support maintenance of chip conveyors, mist collectors, coolant filtration, air compressors, chillers, pumps, and other equipment.
• Coordinate complex repairs with internal resources or vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate PM schedules, service records, and equipment documentation.
• Monitor recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory of common maintenance supplies and wear items.
• Schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to production.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
