Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred; medical device manufacturing background a plus.
• 1+ years of experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
• Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
• Set up jobs and operate conventional, special-purpose and CNC machines to fabricate metallic parts.
• Load programs into CNC machines and execute to meet customer specifications.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Grinding/Buffing of parts.
• Checking parts on CMM and verifying conformance to specifications.
