Job summary

Orchid's Arab, Alabama site, near Huntsville, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate multi-axis CNC equipment and produce precision medical components. You will handle X, Y, Z coordinates, run mills and lathes, and ensure quality through inspections.

The role demands detail orientation, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safe, high-quality manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. Prior CNC experience and ability to read blueprints are required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC mills or lathes (1+ years) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors machine performance and program execution.
• Completes work orders and inspection documentation.
• Makes off sets and adjustments with supervision.
• Upholds health and safety standards.
