Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC in Arab, Alabama is seeking a Machine Operator for the Weekend Shift. Schedule is Friday to Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM, with starting pay of $18.00/hour and additional weekend premium of 11% plus $8 shift differential.

You will operate CNC/multi-axis equipment, perform set-ups, monitor performance, and conduct basic quality checks. Ideal candidates have lean manufacturing experience and exposure to medical device components, with 1+ year of machining experience and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
• 1+ year experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Machining trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors machine program performance and quality.
• Completes shop work orders and inspection documentation.
• Loads programs into CNC machine and executes them to spec.
