Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring a CNC Operator in York/Hanover, PA to set up and run Mazak CNC lathes and multi-axis turning centers with high precision. The role includes first-piece and in-process inspections and ongoing equipment maintenance.

Typical shifts include 1st shift (6am–4pm, 4x10s), with opportunities for 2nd shift or weekend work, as start date is ASAP. Pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of G & M codes and ability to edit programs.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision components across a wide range of materials.
• Program, edit, and run multi-axis turning centers while performing first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Maintain equipment, document work, and support continuous improvement on quality, safety, and efficiency.
