Job summary

Levan Machine & Truck Equipment in Fleetwood, PA, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining with at least 5 years of experience, particularly in lathe operation. Responsibilities include precision machining, custom fabrication, and maintaining a safe work environment.

This full-time role offers competitive pay ranging from $24.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience, along with medical benefits and paid time off. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm and Friday from 7am to Noon.

Job Details

Location: Fleetwood, PA 19522; Salary Range: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Position: CNC Machinist - Lathe

We are adding another CNC Machinist to our team due to increased work volume. We are looking for a go‑getter with high attention to detail. Attendance must be punctual and reliable. This position is vital to daily operations. This is not a machine operator position.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision CNC machining, custom fabrication, repair machining, production runs, prototyping, and driveline services.
• Extensive manual machining experience is required; additional welding skills are a plus.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes; mill experience is a plus (Mazak experience is a bonus).
• Read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Evaluate breakdown jobs and understand tolerances for repair.
• Read, verify, and operate micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring instruments.
• Prioritize different tasks and efficiently manage time.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, or two years vocational or technical school.
• High proficiency with CNC machining equipment, with signficant experience running a lathe.
• Must be able to multi-task on machines and different projects.
• Must be able to produce quality products within budget.
• High attention to details and meeting deadlines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary based on experience. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 7am to Noon (40 hours/week + 5 hours OT/week). Additional overtime opportunities may be required as needed.
