Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Operator II to run both manual and CNC machines, producing small to medium parts per specifications. The role may involve finished parts or sub-assemblies, requiring precise setup and quality checks.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of CNC experience, strong tool handling, and a commitment to safety. The position is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits including health coverage and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficient in machine setup, tool changes, offsets and program adjustments; G-code knowledge a plus.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection and CNC operation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work flexible hours and prioritize safety.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies.
• Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
• Positions parts using various fastening devices.
• Uses hand-held, electrical and pneumatic tools as needed.
• Verifies accuracy and inspects completed work.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Sets up machines by loading tools, fixtures and materials; verifies parameters.
