Job summary

Amity Die & Stamping Co. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Die Maker to program, operate and maintain CNC mills in a manufacturing environment in Lake Forest, IL.

The role requires experience with CAD or CAM software such as SmartCAM, and the ability to design and sustain small to medium progressive dies including forming, draw, coining and compound dies. Overtime may be necessary, and teamwork is essential to meet ISO procedures.

CNC Operator / Die Maker:

Candidate will be required to Program, operate and maintain CNC mills. Experience CAD, Smart Cam or another Cam software. Must be able to build and maintain small to medium progressive die, including forming, draw, coining and compound dies. Candidates must maintain die records along with timing information. Candidate must be able to work well with others. Overtime will be necessary at times.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• High School Diploma and TMA certificate or equivalent
• Experience working in Manufacturing industry
• Knowledge and operation of tool room equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
• Good written & verbal skills in English; Spanish Bilingual is a plus
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Must be able to work as a team member and not only as an individual
• Dependable and punctual.
