Job summary

Amity Die & Stamping Co. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Die Maker to program, operate and maintain CNC mills in a manufacturing environment in Lake Forest, IL.

The role requires experience with CAD or CAM software such as SmartCAM, and the ability to design and sustain small to medium progressive dies including forming, draw, coining and compound dies. Overtime may be necessary, and teamwork is essential to meet ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience
• Proficient in programming, operating, and maintaining CNC mills
• Experience with CAD, SmartCam or equivalent CAM software
• Ability to build and maintain small to medium progressive dies (forming, draw, coining, compound)
• Maintain die records with timing information
• Overtime may be required
• Team oriented and reliable
• Commitment to safety and ISO procedures
