Job summary

LeoForce in Addison, IL is seeking a mid-level CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machines, translating engineering drawings into precise dimensions for production. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure machines run per company guidelines.

The role requires at least 5 years of CNC experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers hourly pay up to $30 with immediate opportunities to contribute to quality manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and technical designs.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
• Load raw materials into the CNC machines.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Test and maintain machine tools periodically to ensure their longevity and safe operation.
