Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in East Longmeadow MA is seeking a Kesel Milling Operator to set up and operate CNC milling machines to mill teeth on carbon steel and bi-metal backing material. You will perform exacting setups, check coils, replace cutters, and maintain a clean work area.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant milling experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. The role features a 3:15pm–11:45pm shift and a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant milling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• Ability to use numbers including decimals.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to mill teeth on carbon steel and bi-metal backing material.
• Perform exacting set ups to close tolerances.
• Check coils to be milled and record coil tag.
• Replace cutters after grinding.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Report material defects or equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
• Ensure quality of work performed.
