AMETEK is seeking a CNC Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am-2:30pm) in Milford, NH. The role focuses on set-up and operation of CNC machines with a focus on safe, efficient production and adherence to quality standards. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available, subject to policy.

Experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines is a plus. Strong machining knowledge, math skills, and the ability to use AI tools to improve productivity are valued in this role.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving.
• Solid understanding of machining practices.
• Good math and measuring-instrument knowledge (trig/geometry).
• 1+ year machining experience or a recent precision machining certificate.
• Able to work in a team or independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and quality.

Aufgaben

• Operate multiple CNC machines and keep them running efficiently.
• Adjust setups to meet dimensions, tolerances, and quality.
• Inspect parts with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Perform minor editing of current programs.
• Follow established procedures and safety standards.
• Communicate delays and issues promptly.
