Job summary

SMF Inc. in Anderson, SC, is hiring a CNC Machine Center Operator for the 2nd or 3rd shift. You will set up and operate CNC milling centers, read blueprints, load materials, and run cycles to produce precision parts for Fortune 500 OEMs.

Qualifications

• Able to read gauges and tape measures.
• Proven experience operating CNC milling centers.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong math and measurement skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machine Centers to perform drilling, grinding, and milling tasks.
• Read specifications from blueprints and written instructions.
• Translate instructions into machine commands and load raw materials.
• Run test cycles and adjust machines for accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts and ensure conformance to specs.
• Maintain daily equipment checks and keep workspace safe.
