Job summary

SMF in Anderson, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as a key figure in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and facility systems. Candidates should bring at least 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role and a high school diploma.

Additional certifications in multi-craft maintenance are preferred, with a focus on electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure machine uptime and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Work independently while collaborating with the team to meet production goals.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.

Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $23.75 - $30.55/hour

Location: Anderson SC

Position classification based on experience & pre-employment test results

What You’ll Do:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent climbing, bending, and twisting
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and 80 lbs occasionally
