Job summary

Velosity CMD is hiring an experienced CNC Mill Setup Machinist/Programmer on 1st shift to support our Forest Lake, MN facility. The role blends setup, operation, and programming of CNC mills, with about 60% setup/operation and 40% programming using Mastercam.

The base pay ranges from $28.50 to $42.75 per hour, plus a 5% quarterly bonus and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience operating CNC milling machines and programming them using relevant software.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with Mastercam or similar CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling machines with attachments and parts to perform jobs.
• Enter instructions into CNC equipment based on blueprints; program with Mastercam.
• Identify and resolve programming/operation issues to ensure production.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specs; maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and team members.
