Job summary

Metal Craft, a precision machining company in Elk River, MN, seeks a MillTurn Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines performing turning, boring, threading, and facing on metal and plastic pieces. Expect a 5:30 AM–6:00 PM Friday to Sunday schedule with a competitive base pay plus 20% shift pay and a $3,000 sign-on bonus payable in two installments.

The role requires 2–5 years of CNC experience, an associate degree in machining or equivalent, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in machining or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years of CNC machinist experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and tool instructions.
• Set up and run multiple CNC machines as capacity allows.
• Load tools, adjust offsets, and manage tool wear.
• Perform Quality Control documentation of tolerance zones.
• Identify and replace dull or damaged tooling.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines.
