Job summary

Hire Sync in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator for the 1st shift. You will set up and operate Haas-based vertical milling machines to produce precision components from insulating materials.

You'll read engineering drawings, load programs, adjust offsets, inspect parts with precision tools, and maintain tight tolerances while meeting production schedules. This role rewards craftsmanship, accuracy, and independence within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on CNC milling experience, including machine setup and operation.
• Experience with Haas CNC controls is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Solid understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines, primarily Haas equipment.
• Manufacture precision components using electrical, mechanical, and thermal insulating materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Load CNC programs, select tooling, and adjust machine offsets.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain productivity while meeting quality standards and production deadlines.
