Job summary

AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for first shift in Woodlawn, OH. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a precision metal fabrication environment and is proficient with HAAS mills and lathes, reading blueprints, and basic G-code programming.

Responsibilities include setting up, programming, and operating HAAS machines, performing tool changes and inspections, and maintaining quality.

Qualifications

2-5 years of CNC machining experience.
Proficiency with HAAS controls (mills and/or lathes) is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings.
Experience with G-code programming and editing preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts per specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine operations and tolerances.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and part inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure part quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with safety standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency.
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
