Inova Staffing seeks a skilled CNC Mill Setup/Operator for a family-owned precision machining company in Solon, Ohio. This direct-hire role features 1st shift (6:00am–4:30pm, M-F) with potential Saturday overtime and a collaborative, clean environment.

You will set up and run CNC mills (Okuma/Fanuc), inspect first-pieces, and maintain tight tolerances while reading drawings and applying GD&T. Join a diverse project base across aerospace, medical, energy, and more.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 2+ years of setup in a tight-tolerance shop.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills with Okuma & Fanuc controls.
• Perform first-piece inspections and verifyMachining processes meet specs.
• Hold tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections with micrometers/calipers/gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, tooling and offsets to optimize results.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and daily checks to ensure machine readiness.

CNC Mill Setup/Operator – Inova Staffing is seeking skilled CNC Mill Setup/Operator for a family-owned precision machining company in Solon, Ohio. This is a direct hire position with openings on both 1st shift.

Shifts & Schedule

1st shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm, M-F 50-hour workweeks standard, with opportunities for double time on Saturdays.

About the Role

This shop specializes in tight-tolerance, complex parts and operates as a true job shop: high mix, low runs. Daily responsibilities include complex setups, holding tight tolerances, and machining irregular or geometrically challenging components.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, Okuma & Fanuc-controls experience preferred.
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify machining processes meet specifications.
• Hold tight tolerances and complete in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, tooling, and offsets to optimize results.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and daily checks to ensure machine readiness.
