Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Hillsboro, OR seeks a CNC Operator to set up and run mills and lathes in a high‑output production environment. You will program Haas VMC, Robodrill, Toyoda and Mazak HMC, read blueprints and GD&T, perform precise measurements, and maintain tooling with an emphasis on quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of CNC machining experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting GD&T.
• Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
• Set up mills and lathes by installing chucks, tools, attachments, and vices; align and tram heads.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
• Maintain specifications by observing drilling, turning, and finishing operations; troubleshoot and adjust tooling.
