Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an early-career CNC/CAM Programming Technologist to turn blueprints into precise, working parts on our 3–4 axis VMCs.

You will build CAM toolpaths, generate G-code, and dial in feeds, speeds, and workholding. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform setups, and support throughput with hands-on machining.

A strong eye for detail, GD&T proficiency, and experience with CAD/CAM software will help you grow in a collaborative, safety‑conscious shop.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CNC programming and G-code.
• Understanding of CNC tooling and setup/changeover.
• Experience reading blueprints with GD&T.
• Strong troubleshooting for CNC machinery and tooling.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Hands-on precision measurement and hand metrology.
• Manual machining experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create CAM toolpaths and generate G-code for 3–4 axis VMC.
• Set up and changeover CNC machines for production runs.
• Troubleshoot tooling or machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Validate parts using precision measurement and hand metrology.
