Job summary

CoorsTek in Hillsboro, OR seeks a CNC Set-Up I to load preset CNC programs and perform minor adjustments to ensure compliant production. You will operate CNC equipment, inspect parts, and perform basic maintenance while keeping a clean, organized work area.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent), roughly three years of relevant experience, and knowledge of CAD/CAM, GD&T, and SPC. Shift is Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm, with 10 hour days.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate math (algebra, geometry) and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM programs and G/M codes.

Responsibilities

• Load preset CNC programs and make minor adjustments to control sequence.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce parts per work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and record results; report deviations.
